Gus has followed in the footsteps of his dad- Bullet. He has a passion to retrieve and is a quick learner. Gus has his HRC Started Hunting Retriever title. He is a good looking light yellow - polar white color, well mannered and a great companion. He is EIC clear, hips are OFA- Excellent, and elbow- Normal. Gus is the son of our own Bullet x Ripley and has a pedigree with 16 Field Trial Champions, 2 American Pointing Lab Hall of Fame dogs (Otter & Raider) and numerous AKC and HRC titled dogs.

'THOR' is the son of FC AFC CFC ACFC Barracuda Blue MH! - THOR carries these genetics with his desire to retrieve, hunt-ability, and demeanor. THOR earned his AKC Junior Hunter Title at 1 yr of age. His hips are OFA Excellent, Centronuclear Myopathy clear, Exercise-Induced Collapse clear. Thor is a solid built 70 lbs. This pedigree will produce a smart, intelligent, and trainable pup.

In memory of --- THE FOUNDER OF BAR A KENNELS --- BULLET was a Certified Pointing Retriever with the American Pointing Lab Association and AKC Junior Hunter Title. His 5 generation pedigree contains 12 Field Trial Champions! This top quality pedigree produced pups that were very easy to train. Bullet achieved his CPR at 5 months of age. Bullet has sired puppies that POINT, easy to train and make great companions. He passed his first JH title at 10 months and finished his title in Kansas City Missouri the next spring. His hips were OFA -EXCELLENT. Bullet's dad is in the American Pointing Lab Association's Hall of Fame, GMPR Bar None's Snake River Otter MH QAA. 'Otter' is a Grand Master Pointing Retriever and a Master Hunter. Bullet's Mom is MPR HR HPK Good Golly Miss Molly SH 3xNBDCA Ch 'Molly' is a Master Pointing Retriever, UKC Hunting Retriever, Senior Hunter, and a 3 time National Bird Dog Challenge Champion. Bullet was a CHAMPION and loved to Hunt and Retrieve. He was my #1 companion when chasing quail, pheasant, dove, and ducks in Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Arkansas and Kansas. Bullet's pointing pedigree made him a versatile dog. This is the best dog I have been associated with. We have carried his champion traits at Bar A Kennels with Bullet's offspring - Gus, Lizzy, Annie, KC, and now BULLET Jr.
